We spend a lot of time staring at our phones. So why not use them in ways that can help us get in better shape. There are a lot of apps out there to choose from, so we’ve narrowed it down to four of our favorite fitness apps to help kick your fitness routine up a notch!

If you are not a runner, but want to be one, this is the perfect app for you. It will take you, as the name implies, from the couch to a 5K by leading you through an 8-week running program. The program helps you pace yourself and slowly introduces you to long distance running. It will have you running to collect supplies, save your friends and keeping everyone safe all while running away from imaginary zombies. If you’re like me and you need a little more of a challenge to get going, this app will definitely give it to you!

The Spotify running app is the perfect  fitness app to help keep you present in your workout and even push you to work a little bit harder. It matches your workout rhythm and speed with songs to help keep you going and push you further! Even if you’re not a runner, you can use this app to do plenty of other exercises. As long you’re moving, it’s got a song that’s perfect for you!

Say goodbye to your pen and paper or to the unorganized notes in your phone. This app helps you to keep yourself organized at the gym. It allows you to track your exercises, reps, weight and progress in a simple, easy to use way.
